Meet our people
Tina, Head of Offshore Wind, Ireland
Already with over two decades of experience in the sector, Tina’s expertise spans all aspects of environmental, infrastructural, and energy projects.
Tina studied Civil and Environmental Engineering at university, and even though the role she is in now did not exist when she was completing her CAO form, she always knew she wanted a career that could make a meaningful, positive impact on the environment.
Tina’s role is incredibly varied, with most of her time spent engaging with all aspects of Statkraft Ireland’s flagship offshore wind project, the North Irish Sea Array.
Three words Tina would use to describe her role? Challenging, rewarding, and flexible.
Teja, Solar Project Engineer
Teja's day can involve anything from conducting site walks, preparing PV layouts and designs or taking time to study for his MSc in Renewable Energy Engineering.
Having worked with Statkraft India for over 5 years, Teja moved to Ireland in 2022.
For Teja, the most rewarding aspect of working in renewables is “knowing that my contributions are helping to increase the amount of green energy in the grid. It's fulfilling to see my designs materialize on-site as projects progress through construction and commissioning.”
Eva, Community Liaison Officer
At Statkraft, we work closely with a community to develop projects that make a meaningful difference to its people and nature. As a Community Liaison Officer, Eva is often the first point of contact with members of the community that live and work close to our projects.
Eva has a BA in International Studies and a MSc in Political Science and three words she would use to describe her role are rewarding, collective and important.
Her top tip if you want to work in renewables? Keep in mind that there are avenues within the renewable energy sector that go beyond the obvious that are worth exploring. A broad range of skills and expertise are needed in order to successfully transition to a green economy.
Cáitlin, Front of House Administrator
Having previously worked in Digital Marketing and recently completing her Masters in Library Studies, Cáitlin began her Statkraft journey last year.
No two days are the same in this dynamic role, with the Front of House team acting as the backbone of our HQ in Cork.
Cáitlin's favourite aspect of working at Statkraft is the office atmosphere, where there is a great deal of understanding and support, making it a really nice and comfortable place to work.
Hanna, Financial Accountant
After five years working in the motor industry, Hanna was excited to begin a career in renewables. Having qualified as a CPA in 2021, Hanna is continuing her studies with the support of Statkraft, having recently started an Applied Analytics for Business course.
In her role, no two days are the same; each comes with its own challenges, but every day brings a sense of accomplishment.
What does she like most about working at Statkraft? The chance to contribute to a sustainable future. “It’s incredibly rewarding to know that my efforts help advance renewable energy and combat climate change.”
